When you enter this month’s draw, Wendy Ly saves your first name, your email address, and the fact that you checked that you are 18 or older. That record is stored in a private file. It is not published on the site, and it is not written into a public content database.

You are not on the letter or on Etch News until you open the confirmation email and tap confirm. Tapping confirm saves you on the letter and adds you to Etch News. If that list save fails, the draw confirmation still stands and the page does not claim you were added.

Leaving the letter

Each letter has a link that turns off only that letter. Your draw entry stays confirmed, and Etch News is left as it is. The link does not unsubscribe you from every list on the mail account.

What the site counts

Page views are counted, along with a tap kind such as video, recipe, or press. Your name and email are not sent with those counts. A separate private log stores the tap kind, the link text, and the link address.

SMS program

Boundless Creatives Inc. also operates an SMS program for account notifications and operational alerts for Wendy Ly. If you opt in, we collect your mobile number, your consent, delivery logs, and keywords you text, such as STOP or HELP. Mobile numbers and messaging consent are not sold or shared for other people’s marketing. Twilio delivers the messages. Reply STOP to opt out, or HELP for help.
